ORDER MANAGEMENT, INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, AND LOGISTICS
From the moment an order comes in, to the correspondence a customer receives upon purchase, having a solid purchase flow in place will increase sales and build trust amongst customers. My history with managing over 5,000 products from hundreds of vendors between two separate stores has provided me invaluable experience in both the front end and back end operations prospective.
Maintaining accurate inventory is also key when it comes to running a reputable online store. Having proper procedures in place when it comes to receiving inventory, auditing inventory, shipping inventory, and accounting for sales, will promote both efficiency and accuracy. I have vast experience managing incoming and outgoing inventory, tracking and maintaining high volume shipments of products (often consisting of thousands of products per shipment), all the way down to processing and shipping day to day orders with customers.
When it comes to logistics, I worked continuously with USPS, UPS, FED Ex, as well as private couriers to receive and fulfill orders.
PAYMENT SOLUTIONS
Getting paid for your products and services online is just one more step in the process of running an online store. Between two stores, I have in depth experience with negotiating and implementing multiple payment solutions and gateways for e-commerce businesses. My personal experience comes from working with the following providers: Flagship Merchant Services, Authorize.net, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Stripe, and Paywhirl. Aside from implementation, I am proficient with their software, how to properly handle potential disputes, and knowing what red flags to look for regarding possible fraudulent purchases and how to prevent them as well.
In 8 years of running our online stores, we only had 2 lost disputes with PayPal, 2 lost with Stripe, and 3 with Flagship Merchant Services.
SALES CHANNELS
Shopify offers sellers the ability to implement the use of social media sales channels. Allow me to help monetize your social media presence on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Pinterest and with Buy Buttons. Our Pinterest account sales channel with Eclectic Artisans was averaging 10 Million ORGANIC impressions per year, and Sabbat Box was averaging over 5 million ORGANIC impressions per year, helping to bolster sales, increase traffic and spread the word about our businesses.
APPS AND INTEGRATIONS
Shopify has numerous functionalities built into its platform, allowing you to run your business as seamlessly as possible. But there are times where you need the assistance of third party applications or plugins to streamline your workflow or to offer customized functionality geared specifically to your needs. From recurring billing software and third party drop ship inventory management, to sales tax reporting, below is a listing some of the applications we used daily to run our shops.
